Privacy Policy
SocialMetrics is a mobile app (iPhone and Android) for people who publish short videos on several accounts, often called “clippers”. It brings together the statistics of the TikTok, YouTube and Instagram accounts you choose to connect, helps you follow your clipping campaigns and estimate your earnings, and shows your numbers in home-screen widgets.
- We only read your statistics through the official, read-only connections offered by TikTok, Google/YouTube and Instagram. We never read public pages (“scraping”) and we never ask for your social media passwords.
- SocialMetrics never publishes, comments, likes, sends messages or changes anything on your social accounts.
- We do not sell your data, we show no advertising and we do not use your data to train AI models.
- You can disconnect an account at any time and delete your SocialMetrics account from the app. Deletion is immediate and final.

3. How the connections work
When you connect an account, you are sent to the official sign-in page of TikTok, Google or Instagram. You see the exact permissions requested and you accept them there. The network then gives our server an access “key” (token) limited to reading your statistics. You can withdraw it at any time, either from SocialMetrics (“Disconnect”) or from the network itself:
- Google / YouTube: https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions
- Instagram: in the Instagram app, settings, “Apps and websites” (or instagram.com/accounts/manage_access)
- TikTok: in the TikTok app, settings, “Security and permissions”, then the list of connected apps
Instagram can only be connected if it is a professional account (business or creator); this is a rule of Instagram's official API.
YouTube: SocialMetrics uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube channel you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's processing is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. SocialMetrics' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Details on the Data use page.
4. Who processes your data for us
We do not sell or rent your data. Only the following service providers process it, strictly to run the service:
| Provider | Role | Location |
|---|---|---|
| OVHcloud (virtual private server) | Hosting of our server and database (a server we operate ourselves) | United Kingdom (covered by an EU adequacy decision) |
| Expo (650 Industries, Inc.) | Delivery of push notifications to your phone (receives the notification token and the text of the alert) | United States |
| Apple (Apple Push Notification service, App Store, Sign in with Apple) | Notifications on iPhone, subscription payments and verification, sign-in | United States / Ireland |
| Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging, Google Play, Google sign-in) | Notifications on Android, subscription payments and verification, sign-in | United States / Ireland |
| Resend, Inc. | Sending the sign-in code and service emails (receives your email address and the message) | United States |
TikTok, Google/YouTube and Meta/Instagram are the sources of your statistics: we send them only what is needed to request your data (your access token). Their own privacy policies apply to the use of their platforms.
Some providers are located outside the European Union. These transfers are covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified.
5. How long we keep your data
- Account and what you entered: as long as your account exists. Deleted immediately when you delete your account.
- Statistics history: kept for the history period of your plan and deleted beyond it: 30 days on the free plan, 12 months on Pro, for as long as the account exists on Agency. Data received from YouTube is refreshed or deleted at least every 30 days, as required by YouTube's developer policies.
- Disconnected account: the access token is deleted at once and revoked with the network where the network allows it; the statistics of that account are deleted within 30 days.
- Server logs: 30 days.
- Backups: deleted data disappears from backups within 30 days.
- Purchase records: kept as long as required by accounting and tax law.
6. Security
Access tokens are encrypted in our database and can never be read by the app. All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). Each user can only access their own data (row-level security on every table). Access to the server is restricted to the publisher's team.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can access, correct, export (portability), delete your data, object to or restrict its processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Most of this can be done directly in the app (edit, disconnect, delete account). Otherwise write to contact@equipe.le2mholding.com from the email address of your account; we answer within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority; in France, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
8. Deleting your account
In the app: Settings → Account → Delete my account. Everything is deleted and every connection is revoked. Full instructions, including how to ask by email: Delete account. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through Apple or Google: cancel it in your store settings.
9. Children
SocialMetrics is not intended for children. You must be at least 16 years old to use it.
10. Changes
If this policy changes in a significant way, we will tell you in the app before the change applies. The date at the top shows the latest version.
